Mainline Reservations: Mando Update

The CWA/IBT Association appreciates all the feedback we've received from members regarding the trial. We have modified the trial agreement to include that feedback. The modified trial will run for a three-week period starting July 5 and ending July 25.

Reservations Mando Overtime Trial

With storms coming, in order to help manage the amount of mando overtime we have settled one of the staff grievances with a trial period to determine if this is a better way to manage mando overtime in reservations. We developed this trial based on suggestions received from bargaining unit members.

UPDATE: Bargaining Our Mainline AA Contract

American Airlines is still experiencing a considerable disruption to its business as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic. In the first quarter of 2021, the company reported revenues that were 53% below the same quarter of 2020 and 62% below the same quarter in 2019. The CWA-IBT Association has decided to postpone opening the contract for bargaining until the airline is in a more stable position to avoid any unnecessary concessions.
