Update for LUS Members: Pay Date Seniority Adjustment

May 16th, 2016

LUS Passenger Service Employees:

In October 2015, the Union negotiated with the Company in a Letter of Agreement (LOA) an opportunity for LUS Passenger Service employees, who had their Pay Date (PD) Seniorities modified in accordance with the 2005 Collective Bargaining Agreement because of the LUS bankruptcy, to request that the Company adjust their PD Seniorities. The window for requests to be submitted to the Company opened December 1, 2015 and closed on January 30, 2016.

To view the Company’s list of the requests that it has identified as submitted during the window, click PDF iconhere. The Company has approached the Union to assist with the accuracy of the list.

If your name is on this list, you are not required to take any action. If your name, however, does not appear on the list and you submitted a request during the window, please e-mail documentation (for example, an e-mail return receipt, a regular mail receipt, etc.) that verifies that you submitted a request, to the following email address: Payappeals@american-agents.com

You must also submit information that supports the request. That verification and the information that supports the request must be received by the Union within seven (7) calendar days of the date of this letter.

The Union will forward those requests, verified as timely submitted, and the information in support to the Company. If the information sufficiently supports the request and an employee is otherwise eligible under the LOA (for example, the employee was a LUS Passenger Service employee who had their PD Seniority adjusted), the Company will add the employee’s name to the list. The Company will adjust the PD Seniorities of the employees on the list. The Company anticipates that it will adjust PD Seniorities by May 2016. The PD Seniorities will be effective as of the date of the adjustments.
